LESSON 1 - THE BIBLE & MONEY

Who handles money God's way? Not many. Most don't know the path. Discover the map that unlocks secrets of financial wisdom and change your life, forever!

There are 2,350 verses in the Bible about money and possessions. 15% of what Jesus said had to do with money. He taught us these things for 3 reasons...

1.  How we handle money  impacts our fellowship with the Lord. Faithful use of worldly wealth matters. Why?

Read Luke 16:11  - "So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?"

And read Mathew 25:21. - “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ "

2.  Money and possessions compete with God for first place in our lives. You can't serve two masters, Don;t serve money - use money.

Mathew 6:24  - “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. "

3.  God wants us to be money smart and make the wisest financial decisions. Gaining His financial wisdom is a lifelong journey.

TASK: Pray for your friends, family, and even your enemies. Read Job 42:10 - " After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before. "
